Wines You Should Be Drinking: Anthony Road Vignoles
A little slice of joy in a glass at a time we all need some joy
Over the past few weeks and even now, it feels really hard to write. I’m trying to listen, read, learn, and check on my friends who need my support at this time. I hope this newsletter brings you a slice of joy because we all could use more joy.
The Finger Lakes is absolutely one of my favorite wine regions to drink wine and to visit. It is one of those regions where you go for the wines, but fall in love with the region, lakes, outdoors, food, and the people. It is one of those places where you take a big inhale and the exhale feels like a weight has lifted from your chest. A beautiful, slow and exhilarating area to add to your wine country visit list.
Known for their beautiful and elegant Rieslings, the Finger Lakes are much more than Riesling. Yes, the Rieslings are amazing, but they have a range of exciting and interesting wines to explore. The area also has some of the best hybrid wines you want to drink.
This wine is utterly delicious. Crisp, vibrant, and a perfect wine as we move into the cozy season. I know many people who move towards red wine as the weather gets colder, but I love a cold white wine in those months. This is a great wine with Pho. The broth, the meat, and the heat works with this wine. You want this combination in your life.
