Over the past year I kept thinking what do I want to get out of writing. After writing for various publications, I wanted to bring back my voice on wine, the good, the bad, and the ugly. But, a lot of it is not ugly. It’s actually joyous.
For years I have been asked about my travels as well (before my work with American Airlines) and I wanted to put it all in one place. What I want is to bring the community from my social media to a central place and also get paid for my work, knowledge, and years of experience.
The majority of the writing will be on wine. Wines I am inspired by, along with the people who work in wine, make wine, and their stories.
My travel guides will be once a month, along with my monthly reading list, wine and fragrance pairing (yep, I’m going there), and monthly beauty chat. I’ll also release the dates and information on my food and wine trips here first.
The beauty of Substack is it has features for podcasting and chats which I plan to do monthly as well. It’s a way of growing the community and thanking you for your support. All the free posts will appear on my blog as well which will have a refresh in 2024.
The goal is to have 1000 paid subscribers by the end of the year. Yes, I am speaking it into existence. Putting it out there also feels, well, surreal. Feel free as always to pass this newsletter to people in search of connection and community. I will also share behind the scenes with my paid subscribers. Thank you for your patience as I figure this new platform as well.
